SELF-GUIDED TOURS

LET YOUR FREE SPIRIT GUIDE YOU

EXPLORE HIKING TOURS

On a Self-guided tour to Madeira Island, you get to travel on the dates that work best for you and your group. Our experienced staff meticulously plans your tour, your lodging is taken care of, and you have a choice of hotel options to fit your budget.

Luggage transfers are included, and you’ve access to a cellphone that Madeira Hike provides for local support and emergency services. On a Self-guided tour, we offer the same quality, style, service, and comfort as on a Guided tour. The main difference is that you’re the guide. Self-guided tours offer tremendous freedom, flexibility, and independence. Your hours, your choices, your rules! We encourage you to enjoy the tour your way.

It is important to recognize that a self-guided tour is different from a self-contained tour, where you’re responsible for everything from planning the routes, arranging hotels, luggage transfers, carrying your gear, etc.

On a self-guided tour to Madeira island, our team arranges everything. Meaning that each tour includes a book with information about every stage: a small description, a map, sites to visit, eating spots, climbing and distance, water points, open hours, and suggestions about the track.

We do our best to prepare a detailed tour for you, so we recommend some planning and studying of the stages.

Madeira Hike by PNT will support you 24 hours a day on a self-guided tour with anything you might need. Our team will back you up in case you need it, whether because of bad weather, sickness, needing a doctor or a pharmacy, route problems, or anything that might happen.
